Beautiful, clean hotel with excellent service. Reasonable prices, no complains at all. Favourable and great setting, close enough to activities and restaurants, the coast and fort. Also, in Lamu old town.

Location: the hotel was adjacent to the nearby mosques as well as the waterfront. The breakfast was included, it was savoury.

I had an incredible stay at the charming and budget-friendly Jambohouse Lamu. The owner, Arnold, went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. He took the time to personally guide me through the town, providing a detailed map and sharing insights about the local culture. The breakfast served on the rooftop terrace was absolutely delicious - the best I had during my trip to Kenya. The location in the heart of Lamu old town was perfect for immersing myself in the vibrant atmosphere. The sunset walking tour and dhow sunset tour arranged by Arnold were both highlights of my stay. The cozy room had all the necessary amenities, and the internet and water worked without any issues. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. I highly recommend Jambohouse Lamu for budget travelers seeking an authentic experience in Lamu.

I recently stayed at JamboHouse for five nights during my trip to Lamu. Arnold, the owner, was incredibly helpful and provided me with detailed information about the area and his recommendations for restaurants and activities. The staff, Adam and Fred, were friendly and the daily breakfast on the rooftop patio was delicious. My room was spacious and cleaned thoroughly each day. The locals were friendly and the town felt safe to walk around. I highly recommend JamboHouse and would stay there again if I return.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Jambohouse for a day and a half. The staff was friendly and helpful, even arranging for a meeting at the airport. I was delighted to receive a welcome drink upon arrival. The room had clean linen and was spotless. The hotel's proximity to the jetty made it convenient for exploring the area. And I can't forget about the fantastic donkey riding and excellent massages they organized. Thank you, Arnold, for your warm welcome!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
